OPENING SPEECHES

Opening Speeches take place in committees.

After the opening ceremony, delegates will move to their rooms and each delegate will make an opening speech outlining what they hope to achieve in relation to the issues on the agenda.

Opening speeches take about one minute to present. The purpose of the opening speech is to introduce the country and give a very brief account of the country’s perspective regarding the main theme for the conference 'Building a Better World' and the important issues to be discussed in relation to that theme by the committee.
